Dr. Hardin-Bartley is the superintendent for the School District of University City and is a recognized leader in creating trauma-informed schools. She founded the Education Leaders Work Group of Alive and Well and was one of the principle authors of the Missouri Model for Trauma-Informed Schools.

Manager of Trauma-Informed Programs at Children’s Mercy Hospital Kansas City, and served as a past co-chair of Trauma Matters KC

Fred Rottnek, MD
Board certified in Addiction Medicine and Professor and Director of Community Medicine at Saint Louis University School of Medicine, Dr. Rottnek also is chair of the St. Louis Regional Health Commission’s Provider Services Advisory Board

Chief executive officer at the St. Louis Regional Health Commission has been leading community change efforts to improve health outcomes for more than a decade, including helping to form Alive and Well STL

The Community & Professional Engagement Liaison at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas City, Henry has more than a decade of experience working with communities to create change and joins the board as co-chair of the Alive and Well KC Steering Committee

Founder of ETI, LLC in Kansas City and past co-chair of Trauma Matters KC, working to promote trauma-informed approaches across the region

Claudine Allen

As Program Coordinator and a therapist at the Hopewell Center and in their own practice, Claudine provides trauma-focused therapy, case-management, supervision, training, clinical assessment, and crisis intervention.

Chris Elliot

Chris has worked to support St. Louis' most vulnerable communities for more than 20 years. They are passionate about removing barriers to access and has worked with communities around economic empowerment and mental health the duration of his career.

L. Vanessa Frazier

Executive Director of the Howardville Community Betterment Committee (HCBC). She has served as the Project Manager for the City of Howardville, Brownfields Clean Up Grant and the HCBC.

MacKenzie Sheckles-Methany

Has been employed with FCC Substance Use Prevention for the last 5 years serving Dunklin, Pemiscot, Missisippi, and New Madrid Counties in the Bootheel.
